Originally from California, Max Rosenblum’s comedy roots began in Washington, DC in late 2011 when a dislike for his job led him to seek comfort in finding any bar he could in which to perform comedy at night. Five years later, Max has been entertaining DC audiences at venues big and small all over town with his self-deprecating and optimistically pessimistic outlook.
Accomplishments
Max has performed at such comedy festivals as the Cleveland Comedy Festival and Baltimore’s Artscape Festival, and at such venues as the Kennedy Center (DC), Caroline’s on Broadway, Hollywood Laugh Factory, San Francisco Punchline, DC Improv, Sixth & I Synagogue (DC), Pasadena Ice House, and Arlington Drafthouse. He’s opened for nationally and internationally-known comedians such as Russell Howard, Brooks Wheelan, Gary Gulman, Bobby Slayton, Myq Kaplan, Greg Fitzsimmons, DC Benny, Jen Kirkman, Nick Vatterott and Yamaneika Saunders. Max has also performed on the critically-acclaimed Los Angeles-based storytelling podcast RISK!
