Singer-songwriter-guitarist Mason Jennings brings his simple yet catchy melodies and unique voice to the Rio Theatre. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Jennings picked up the guitar at the age of 13 and would drop out of school to pursue his music career. In 1997, he produced his self-titled debut album on an analog four-track in the living room of a house he was renting, performing all of the instruments himself. Since then, he has released many more albums and EPs, garnering critical praise for his personl lyrics, literary and historical themes, and distinctive voice.
