Marty Grimes ft. Larry June and Daghe

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Sat, Dec 30, 2017, 9:00 pm, Doors: 8:00 pm

Berkeley-native Marty Grimes has rapidly become a prominent artist in the Bay Area's rap scene. His music embodies the slang and strut that the Bay Area is known for, bringing a new voice to the iconic Northern California lifestyle that bred him. Over the past six years, he has become accustomed to touring the country with his childhood best friend, G-Eazy, writing music on the road and gaining momentum along the way.

Since launching his professional career in 2013 with "Bang Bang," a single Co-Produced with childhood best friend Gerald "G-Eazy" Gillum and Kevin "KDE" Beggs, Marty's been hard at work both the studio and on stage - all while preserving his unmistakable sound. His most illuminating work yet, "Martyjuana" (2017), is a candid mixtape that shows the listener just what Marty Grimes is made of. Twelve introspective tracks weave his story with unique flavor, keeping the tone upbeat while detailing a broad range of topics - from the journey to fame, to life's simple pleasures. This is following the phenomenal reception of "Through the Smoke" and "Nobody Said It Was Easy" (2014 & 2015), also produced by longtime friend KDE.

Marty has since been featured on music's premier online and print publications, including Billboard, Revolt TV, VIBE Magazine, The Daily Loud, and Sway's Universe - this in addition to his more than 20 million total plays on SoundCloud. Over the past six years, he has become accustomed to touring the country with G-Eazy, writing music on the road and gaining momentum along the way. Today, he is focused on further evolving his brand and continuing to make outstanding music for his fans.
