Boston-based multi-instrumentalist Mark Zaleski comes to San Francisco to celebrate the release of his second album, Days, Months, Years. The album includes clever compositions combined with choice standards reimagined to fit the style of his band of 10 years. Zaleski performs on saxophone this evening as he puts his own spin on modern jazz by incorporating his love of rock music with his jazz training.   FEATURING: Malcolm Campbell – piano Doug Stewart – bass Colin McDaniel – drums Mark Zaleski – alto & soprano saxophone   ABOUT THE ARTIST: Internationally touring musician Mark Zaleski has distinguished himself as a dynamic soloist, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader. He has performed with a diverse group of notable artists including Dave Brubeck, Christian McBride, Ian Anderson, Connie Francis, Mahmoud Ahmed, Rakalam Bob Moses, Tiger Okoshi, Antonio Sanchez, the Either/Orchestra, Jason Palmer, and Matt Savage. The Mark Zaleski Band performs a remarkable jazz/rock blend with influences ranging from Cannonball Adderley to Jimi Hendrix, with a fiery front line of two strong saxophonists.

When should I arrive?
Doors open 30 minutes before the scheduled performance time. For example, if the show is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm, the doors will open at 7:00 pm.
When does the box office open to buy tickets at the door?
Guests may buy tickets when doors open 30 minutes before the scheduled performance time. Limited tickets will be available at the door (quantity will vary depending on total online sales).
Does the Poppy accept debit or credit cards?
At this time, we can only accept cash and check. Credit card processing will be coming soon.
Is the space ADA accessible?
Yes, there is a ramp at our 23rd St entrance.
What kind of seating do you have available?
For most of our events we have folding chairs and a few couches available.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Street parking is available but can be limited around the Red Poppy. We encourage you to take public transportation whenever possible. Several MUNI lines run close to the Red Poppy, and the 24th St. Mission BART station is just under half a mile away.
What can I bring into the event?
Guests are welcome to bring food. Beverages are available by suggested donation. We recommend bringing collapsible strollers, if possible.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, this event is all ages. However, wine and beer will be served at the concessions counter.
What's the refund policy?
Attendees can receive refunds up to 1 day before your event start date.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You may bring your printed ticket or show your ticket on your phone. There will be no tickets available for pick up at Will Call.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, you’re welcome to purchase tickets for someone else.
