MARIN ART AND GARDEN CENTER PRESENTS SUMMER CONCERTS IN THE GARDEN

Brass Mafia - Inspired by the brass band tradition of New Orleans, Jazz Mafia's madcap marching ensemble borrows the instrumental makeup and ebullient spirit of the Crescent City second line while infusing it with a decidedly Nor Cal vibe, welcoming rappers and vocalists as special guests. Based on the tried and true New Orleans brass ensemble, the Brass Mafia includes trombone, trumpet, saxes, drums and most importantly TUBA! But while the band is based on a 100-year-old tradition, the group's sound incorporates music from many different decades and continents, playing a wide variety of originals and unexpected mashups.
