Margaritas Podridas with Alex Vile and Opener
Margaritas Podridas is a band with influences of alternative rock, shoegaze and punk from Hermosillo, Sonora, México formed by Carolina Enriquez (bass guitar and vocals), Rafael Armenta (guitar, drums) and Esli Meuly (guitar). The band was formed in 2015 by Carolina and the former guitarist Sofia Leon, together with Rafael the band started to perform at a local level in their hometown, Hermosillo. Later, Esli Meuly joined the band as a guitarist and they released their first album "Porcelain Mannequin" in 2018, in which Alfonso Lopez recorded guitars after Sofia left the band. With this new band lineup they started touring around Mexico and released their most recent album "Margaritas Podridas" in 2021, which led them to perform at international festivals such as Ruido Fest (Chicago), Freakout Festival (Seattle), This Ain't No Picnic (Pasadena), and record a live session for the Seattle Radio, KEXP.
