Mardi Gras 2nd line Parade March North Beach Tupelo to North Star

Get out your handkerchiefs and join Tupelo and North Star for their 7th Annual Mardi Gras 2nd Line March on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019!!
The fun starts at Tupelo at 2 PM where your $8wristband gets you a heaping plate of Cajun fare, Hurricane specials as well as a healthy assortment of Mardi Gras beads and an invitation to "Come on Parade"!
N’awlins grub From the Tupelo kitchen is included in the ticket price - Yup Jumbalaya!
Featured music by the North Beach Brass band will start on the Tupelo stage before we take it to the streets for more fun than you can shake a drum major’s baton at.
We will then march and boogie "Second Line" style, meandering our way through Washington Square Park and North Beach, landing at the North Star (1560 Powell st.) for more music, booze and well, you know!
Mardi Gras costumes are highly encouraged. * Tickets are $12 at the door or $8 in advance! We will see you there - This is one party you don't want to miss!
*a portion of the ticket price will go to support local music programs at Bird School of Music (on Polk st) that teach little guys and gals how to play in the New Orleans tradition. For more information on the Bird school of music Check out bird-sf.com
