Manilatown Mic Drop is a gathering of the community to celebrate ethnic studies and education of the arts. It will be a night that features musical performances, and visual art being displayed. All proceeds will go to The Pinxy Educational Partnership or PEP. A lot of young creative artists have not been given the opportunity to properly display their art in a creative space. Today, artists tend to be instantly gratified or feel the need to post their art on social media without any real sense of appreciation. This space is open to young artists so that they may properly display their work for the community to see. The I-Hotel holds cultural significance and important history to the Fil-Am Community. Manongs and Manangs used it as a space for celebration, dance, and outings. The goal of this event is to open this space for the community and celebrate Ethnic Studies and the Education of the Arts
