The Kuumbwa Jazz Center is proud to host a benefit concert to raise funds and awareness for the Africa-based Manda Wilderness Choir Festival. Featured musical artists include Tammi Brown, Valerie Joi of the Inner Light Choir, Bryan Dyer, and Dan Robbins, as well as members of the Santa Cruz World Choir & Orchestra. Together, they will perform works by local composer and music director Stephen L. Bigger, who will be traveling to Africa this summer to work with the Manda Wilderness Choir Festival on the shores of Lake Niassa in northwest Mozambique. Admission is free but donations will be gratefully accepted.
