Making Connections

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Desta Gallery is pleased to announce, "Making Connections," a group exhibition featuring works by Jane Burton, Andrea Wedell, and Stephen Cartwright on view from June 18 - July 28. Join us for an opening reception on Sat., June 26, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm!

Jan Burton
Jane Burton's passion lies in large-scale abstract expressionism, emphasizing the language and physicality of the paint, the line, the brushstroke, the movement, light, and color. Burton's paintings pull one in from afar and will inform, change, and challenge in detail up close.

Andrea Wedell
Andrea Wedell's paintings are inspired by movement, rhythm, color, and mood. Her style is improvisational, moving through joyful chaos to studied balance. The subject matter that emerges through that back and forth processes are the pivotal moments that have shaped her life experience.

Stephen Cartwright
Stephen Cartwright's work exists at the confluence of science and art, where hard data intersects with the intangible complexities of human experience. He creates sculptures, drawings, animations, and installations derived from data and information.
