WomenSing presents Make Good Cheer, the first concert of our 50th season, celebrating the gift of choral music-singer to audience and audience to singer. We will begin with Benjamin Britten's beloved A Ceremony of the Carols, and continue with music we have performed through the course of our fifty years. We will also present former Youth Inspiring Youth composer Dale Trumbore's Ave Generosa, a world premiere piece based on the words of Hildegard von Bingen. Our artistic director has created an arrangement of In the Bleak Midwinter, to be sung by current singers and alumnae. We also feature beloved carols in our signature blend of traditional and the unexpected in women's choral music.
