On April 10, 2014, Cat Stevens was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. MAJICKAT is composed of six musicians with a variety of performing backgrounds including classical, rock, pop, jazz, bluegrass, folk and sacred. George Papailias (Lead Vocals and Guitar), Shayne Sutton (Guitar), Miranda Singler (Piano), Nick Docous (Vocals/Bass), Bud Chatterley (Vocals/Drums/Percussion/Guitar) and Louise Rebello (cellist) re-create the lush harmonies and complicated instrumentation which is the hallmark of the “Cat Stevens Sound”.
