deep house / cosmic disco / balaeric vibez / lo-fi acid
THE CHASE returns August 29th with a lineup composed of talent from up and down the west coast for those remaining in San Francisco for Labor Day weekend. In this seventh edition of the party, the infectious vocal sounds of Magic Touch (aka Damon Palermo) return to SF to team up with local purveyor of hazy, psychedelic dream house Roche (aka Ben Winans) for a special back to back DJ set. We are also extremely excited to welcome LA-based NEWBODY (aka Jonathan Roshad and Robert Ramone) for their first appearance in the city. Vocal-laden house steeped in swing, the group cites influences from the likes of Deee-lite, Todd Edwards and Kerri Chandler. Local Ghosts on Tape (Ryan Merry) of the forward-thinking SF-based label and party Icee Hot rounds out the bill with his penchant for percussive techno and resident Ash Williams as always will lend support in the form of colorful balearic and deep house. Live visuals of will be provided by Subset, the SF-based visual team whose work specializes in color and geometry has been featured at parties like Haçeteria and many other mainstays of the underground bay area dance.
