In this class you’ll learn basic macrame knots and techniques to make a modern plant hanger. The instructor will demonstrate some knot variations so everyone’s work will be unique depending on which direction you choose. You’ll leave with a completed plant hanger, a 4” terra-cotta pot, a small plant, and the knowledge to continue making hangers and other macrame art for all your friends and family. Macrame is incredibly addictive once you’ve learned the basics as all you really need is rope. The instructor will also provide resources on how to continue your craft including where to source supplies and reading materials.Materials Included: rope, a wood ring, 4” terra cotta pot, small plant
This workshop will be on Saunday October 29th from 1-4pm at the LPP Workshop (855 Valencia Street). Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Limited to 10 students.
All workshops include 20% discount in the LPP shop the day of their workshop.
