Please join us on Sunday, February 6th, from 9 am-3 pm at the Outer Sunset Farmers Market & Mercantile as we celebrate Lunar New Year 2022. The celebration is located in the Outer Sunset Mercantile space along two blocks of 37th Avenue between Ortega and Quintara. Special Lunar New Year performances and activities are scheduled throughout the day including Lion Dance Me dance performances at 11 am and 1 pm and the Crescent Dance Crew from 2-3 pm. The Chinese Historical Society of America will be on site with the Chinese in the Sunset exhibit.
The Money Goddess will join the celebration handing out Lunar New Year red envelopes and chocolate coins to guests. Wah Mei School will be hosting a kid's activity as part of the Sunset Chinese Cultural District Booth and children's activities will also take place in the Kid Zone. As always, our festive family-friendly outdoor market features local farmers, ranchers, producers, food artisans, food trucks, amazing chefs, makers, merchants and artists. As a special treat, OSFMM sponsor, Waymo, will be at the market with their cars and Safer Together will be administering rapid covid testing on site.
