The Luna Park Arts Foundation is once again sponsoring its 7th Annual Luna Park Chalk Art Festival on Saturday, September 20 from 10AM-5PM at Backesto Park in Downtown San Jose. Proceeds from the festival support local artists and youth arts programs. In 2013, the festival raised enough money to grant $5200 to four schools and close to $3500 to sponsor artists at the event. We hope to be able to support even more arts program and artists this year. We believe in the POWER of the ARTS! The festival not only hosts an array of talented artists chalking the pathways of the park, it is host to some of the best musical groups, performers, food trucks, and arts and crafts vendors in the area. It is truly a day of artistic celebration.
