Join us and our Commissary Butcher, Dustin Vaught, as we take a look at the labor and love that go into the house-made meats in our delectable sandwiches. Under Dustin's leadership, the class will learn how to trim, wrap, and rub roast beef. Then, he'll demo how to clean pork legs in preparation for our classic Brown Sugar Ham. Class participants will learn how to whip up the perfect brine and see what we do to get our ham just right.
We'll finish up the class with - what else - some sandwiches! Dustin will demo how to get perfectly thick slices of roast beef and ham, and we'll use all that delicious meat to create some of our signature Luke's Local sandwiches. You'll go home with a few pounds of the best deli meats in town, a selection of our house recipes, and a newfound passion for what it takes to get a sandwich just right!
