Temple Presents Lucas Med & Friends feat. Nu Luxx
Temple Nightclubs very own Lucas Med will be on deck Saturday. Having played numerous stages from San Francisco to Brazil and festivals in between, Lucas knows how to turn up a party to the crowds liking. His love for hip-hop, house, and EDM tied together with devout dedication to making music is sure to make the dance floor pop! Lucas Med & Friends brings the hottest upcoming artists to Temple's main stage. On Saturday, June 16th Nu Luxx will be sharing the decks with him.
Matt Meyer and Shawn Mercado are two composed producers and songwriters whom together create under the sobriquet Nu Luxx. The Northern California natives have been producing and writing influential mid temp and bass music since 2017.
In early 2018, Nu Luxx debuted their very first single titled “Ghost Town” which was released in Seattle based label Simplify. Over the next few months, Nu Luxx has gone on to release their 2nd single, “Astra”, which was signed to Billboard danced label, Lowly Palace Records. The duo is set to release their 3rd single, “Rhea”, which will be fettered on Lowly House, a sub-label of Lowly Palace Records.
Their origin and remixes have attracted some of today’s industry-leading DJs/Producers and have gained institutional support from press outlets, labels and promotion companies, alike.
Loaded with phenomenal and unforgettable stage presence, Nu Luxx is quickly becoming a staple in the ever-growing dance music community. Set to take the stage at some of this year’s biggest music festivals and performance venues, the duo is now poised to become one o 2018’s breakout young acts.
