NEW studio/gallery Venus & Victory at 824 Hyde Street is showing a multi-faceted show of works on paper (originals and prints) of collage and monoprints by neighborhood artist, Patricia Wren.
In a nod to her love of street art, the exhibit will feature a large-scale community collage (wheat paste) installation to which attendees are encouraged to contribute. Participants can sign-up to receive a print of the final image which will be sent as a large postcard through the mail.
10% of the proceeds are being donated to Creativity Explored.
The affordable art includes originals, works on archival paper, handmade sketchbooks, and postcards.
The artist and the gallery/studio owner will be at Venus & Victory Studio at 824 Hyde Street (between Bush and Sutter) on Saturday December 16th from 11am to 5pm. Please come by and get your collage on!
