Come by the Kala Gallery and write a letter on beautiful handmade paper created during the Print Public Open House by members of the community. This is part-two of a papermaking and letter writing workshop, however, all participants are welcome to join in!
Hosted by Chelsea Wills and Drew Cameron of Combat Paper, this workshop will focus on spreading love both locally and abroad in an effort to strengthen our sense of location within communities during these tumultuous political times. This event will encourage participants to write their own letters to people they know intimately, or individuals to whom they have never met, alive or dead. A new letter will be sent out each day, coinciding with the first 100 days of our 45th president’s term. Using love to foster new connections is an exploration in collective resistance, agility, and healing.
