ABOUT THE CRYSTAL METHOD
The Legendary Grammy Award-nominated, platinum-selling electronic music duo - Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland - celebrated their 20th anniversary and kicked off 2014's third annual EDMbiz Conference & Expo with their first hometown show since the release of their new album The Crystal Method at the newly-opened Drai's Beach Club. .
In January, they unveiled their self-titled fifth full-length studio album with vaulted to #1 on iTunes Top Electronic Albums Chart. The Collaborations with artists as diverse as LeAnn Rimes, Dia Frampton, Nick Thayer and Le Castle Vania show these seasoned masters at their creative best combining groove and attitude with humor and intelligence, in a way that has placed them at the cutting edge of electronic music since the release of their debut platinum album Vegas in 1997.
Their platinum-status debut album Vegas (released in 1997) is one of the biggest-selling electronic albums of all time, landing them in the top five of best-selling electronic acts in America. They scored the film London and TV show "Almost Human," as well as the themes for "Bones" and "Third Watch," and were the first act to work with Nike for their running soundtrack series. Their most recent work included scoring League of Legends for Riot Games, music for the Scarlett Johansson film, Lucy, and TV commercials for GMC and The Belvedere.
The Crystal Method will continue to play live throughout 2014 and will make appearances at the 2014 Hellow Fest in Monterrey Mexico, and the Escape Music Festival in Brooklyn, NY. They will be combining traditional live show elements and keyboards with their very own custom build CDJ the "TCM 2000 Bass Odyssey." (2014 TCM Bio)
