Long Island indie rapper Louis Logic first made it on the radar of underground hip-hop fanatics in 2003 with his underappreciated Sin-A-Matic. His over-the-top charisma and unusual rhyme scheme earned him the obvious Eminem comparisons, but Logic has always been much more of a master story teller than even Eminem. He's gone through all sorts of phases as a rapper, some flashy, some from out of left field. His latest record, Look On The Blight Side, is more honest, straight-forward and bleak than anything he's previously released, and shows that he's got more going on than just a bag of parlor tricks.
