In a garage in the Outer Sunset of San Francisco, the band of craft-focused musicians blend aspects of classic prog-rock with modern indie rock influences Melodies triangulate between complex dual guitars and haunting vocals, while the dynamic rhythm section is the rug that really ties the room together.
Starover Blue : The unmistakable tones of a Juno 106, both expansive and nostalgic, give way to the layered textures and bittersweet vocals that define Starover Blue and their sophomore LP, Spacegeist. After meeting in the music department at San Jose State in 2007, founding members Kendall and Dirk Sallay-Milotz began their musical partnership and quickly became inseparable, immersing in the Bay Area indie music scene for nearly a decade before relocating to Portland, OR. Live, they pull from a multi-faceted discography of experimental dream pop and have served as local support for a spectrum of bands including The Velvet Teen and Orenda Fink.
