Miami electro-DJ LooKas (real name: Lucas Rego) has traveled the world, spun at big clubs, and collaborated with a lot of hip-hop/EDM heavyweights. But it all started in his bedroom, where he crafted beats all by his lonesome. He must have been imagining a big crowd because they are epic big-room beats. He has originals and remixes, all with deep, pounding bass, hard-hitting drums and surreal synths, and they just bounce all over the place, changing ideas every couple of seconds. It's some scatterbrain trap tunes. He first got attention in 2013 for his remix of "Tsunami," originally by DVBBS and Borgeous. It's all been uphill since then. (AC)
