During the 19th and 20th centuries, The San Francisco Shipyard launched ships to different places around the world, and each ship tracked its heading and position using longitude and latitude coordinates.
Today, San Francisco’s newest community, SFSY, located at the intersection of creativity and technology, is launching a new community series, Longitude & Attitude. This evening series will explore how the interaction of art, design, and tech help define the nexus of new communities in the Bay Area. LONGITUDE represents the breadth of new ideas, while ATTITUDE conveys the individualism of San Francisco.
At Longitude and Attitude, disrupters from the Bay Area’s technology and design community will share their vision of how our culture will be shaped, as our relationship to technology and art converges even as it evolves.
San Francisco is a city of ideas that push communities forward. Longitude & Attitude will add its voice to this tradition, hosted in the heart of San Francisco’s newest community that traces its roots through a history of navigation, innovation and collaboration.
