ARCH is pleased to host a lecture with Australian artist Liz Steel. Liz will be discussing how sketching changed her life and how documenting her life in her sketchbook led to her leaving a successful architectural career in order to become a full time urban sketcher and teacher.
Pivotal to making this big change in her life is her approach to sketching – the desire to work quickly, spontaneously and take risks - to be constantly creating artwork wherever she goes and to be ‘learning out loud’ via her blog and other social media platforms. In this talk she will explain a key skills to develop in order to be able to sketch faster and more accurately – to help you better document your life in a sketchbook and to have the confidence to take more risks with your art.
Join us Monday, the 22nd for this FREE event. Please RSVP as space is limited and we expect this event to sell out!
