The Yuletide Repair Kit was launched in 2003 by guitarists Brian and Andrew Saxon, drummer John Ellis, bassist Chris Sheldon and singers Jester Banks and Nat Bigger. The purpose of the Yuletide Repair Kit is to electromagnetically bring forth the joys of the holiday season to the weary, forlorn, and downright dubious populace. Inspired by vintage tremolo, fuzz guitar, and a low-fi aesthetic, the Yuletide Repair Kit recorded all of their songs in a garage in San Francisco. The Yuletide Repair Kit uses old Musicman Amps and Fender guitars exclusively.
