Join us outdoors in Lower Polk Plaza every Sunday from 2 to 5 pm to see a rotating cast of local musicians performing original songs. These free, all-ages performances will run through the end of October of 2023.
Enjoy some tapas, cocktails, wine, sherry, and vermouth while you take in the entertainment... food and drinks are available to order from Bar El Lopo, with table service provided both in the Plaza or indoors. Performances may also take place indoors at El Lopo depending on weather. (Please note that for indoor seating, El Lopo is a 21 and over venue, but can accommodate guests of any age outdoors.)
A collaboration between El Lopo and the community-supported Lower Polk CBD, Lower Polk Plaza was first opened in the summer of 2020 to provide the neighborhood with safe outdoor dining options during the pandemic. Locals loved the European feel of the cafe-style seating in Austin Alley, and so the Plaza has returned every year since during the warmer months.
