Drummer Sylvia Cuenca toured with sax legend Joe Henderson for 4 years and trumpet legend Clark Terry for 17 years! Sylvia’s hard-swinging post-bop/hard-bop style has been heard on major stages worldwide and on numerous recordings.
Pianist Ben Stolorow possesses a lyrical touch -- he interprets every piece with poise and purpose and crafts alluring melodies that cry out for lyrics.
Bassist Doug Miller has toured with the Count Basie Orchestra, The Ellington Orchestra, and Ernestine Anderson. He has played with many of the world’s leading jazz musicians, and co-founded popular jazz groups New Stories and Big Neighborhood.
Australian Saxophonist Andrew Speight won an Aria Award (the Australian version of a Grammy) for his first album. His hard-driving style delivers straight-ahead jazz with a joyous, lively, and clear tone that’s all his.
**Seated tickets are for specified time on ticket. Table reservations are for two hours. Following that, guests are welcome to enjoy the rest of the show from the bar/standing room. Guests are encouraged and welcome to show up a little early to catch the show and grab a drink from the bar. Tax and service charge included in ticket price. Tickets usually available at the door after Eventbrite sales have ended.**

Does buying a ticket book a reservation as well?
Yes! For seated admissions, your ticket books you a reservation for a table at the time indicated. Your table will be reserved for two hours, after which point you are welcome to enjoy the rest of the show in standing room or at the bar. Please keep in mind we will hold your reservation for 15 minutes beyond the ticketed time. If you anticipate arriving after the scheduled time, please contact us to let the maitre'd know.
Are there table minimums?
Only on Friday and Saturday nights. For seated admissions between 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM we have a $20 food minimum. From 9:30 PM to 2:00 AM, we have and $20 food/beverage minimum.
Can I come in and listen to the music without purchasing a ticket?
Sure! If you would like to come in and listen to the band without seeing the show, you may join us in the Lobby Bar to enjoy specially curated cocktails and our full menu without purchasing a ticket. It's a perfect way to experience Black Cat. General admission tickets may always be purchased at the door if you decide you'd like to go downstairs and check out the show.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All ages welcome!
