DJ Don Cannon

An anthem is defined as “a song of devotion or loyalty, a song of praise, and a symbol for a distinct group of people.” As a celebrity DJ and producer, Don Cannon is responsible for a new sound of major hip hop anthems storming the airwaves over the past couple of years. Cannon is an internationally known DJ who can be heard spinning to elite entertainment industry crowds from Atlanta to Tokyo. His production credits list a who’s who of hip hop’s Top 10 rappers including Outkast “The Art of Storytelling Part 2” featuring Marsha Ambrosius, Young Jeezy “Go Crazy” featuring Jay-Z, 50 Cent’s “Man Down,” Ludacris’ “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Undisputed” featuring Floyd Mayweather, and Fabolous’ “Jokes on you.” This is only the beginning as Cannon continues to perfect his craft and mold newcomers like Asher Roth into superstars.

Donald Cannon is a native of Philadelphia, PA and at the age of five he began his foray into a musical career with his first set of turntables, a mixer and a karaoke machine. Upon high school graduation, Cannon left his Philly hometown to attend popular HBCU Clark Atlanta University. Cannon used those 4 years to sharpen his talent, and develop an understanding of his audience, while rapidly solidifying his position as one of Atlanta’s top tier DJs. As a former member of the Aphilliates, a group of DJs who are Philly natives and CAU alumni, Cannon forayed into the unofficial title as Music Director for Sirius Satellite Radio’s “Shade 45” on “The Aphilliates; The Streets Is Watchin,”co-hosted a show on Atlanta’s WHTA HOT 107.9 FM, and most notably helped to popularize the Gangsta Grillz mixtape series.

As a certified celebrity DJ and proven Atlanta tastemaker, Cannon received “Atlanta’s Best DJ” from the prominent TV program Good Day Atlanta (FOX 5). Shortly after, Cannon founded a full-service production and promotion company, Cannon Music, LLC to house his growing brand (DC) as a DJ and producer. In 2009 alone, Cannon’s niche branding appeal led to DJ and production collaborations with: Microsoft’s Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost & Damned video game premiere party in Atlanta, DJ for Amaire Stoudemaire during NBA All Star Weekend in Phoenix, production for Atlanta Hawks & Atlanta Thrashers season theme songs and placement of Young Jeezy’s “Circulate” for the national Belvedere Vodka campaign.

Citing DJ Premier, Timberland, Pete Rock, Dr. Dre, and J Dilla as key influences, Don Cannon plans to develop himself into an internationally recognized music legend.

DJ Orator

Born and raised in Long Beach, California, DJ Orator got his start in the world of DJing at a young age. Roaming the halls of Long Beach Polytechnic High School which is know for producing influential artist/actors such as “Warren G, Snoop Dogg and Cameron Diaz. (Just to name a few)” gave him the inspiration to try his hand at music and, more specifically, share it with the world. Working for MTV news correspondent Sway and producing the World Famous Wake Up show on 92.3 The Beat from 1999 through 2005 quickly gave him a name in the Los Angeles hip-hop music scene. Following that, DJ Orator quickly moved in on Hollywood dominating the urban hip-hop market as a tastemaker and trendsetter. He is known for having the freshest, newest, and best hip-hop and R&B tracks long before they hit the masses leaving many people shaking their heads wondering how (and where) he got them.
DJ Orator is one of Los Angeles’ and Hollywood’s most talented DJs. He was known for rocking Guys and Dolls in Beverly Hills each and every Sunday and club MyStudio Sundays with a regular guest list that included Drake, Lamar Odom, The Game, Kid Cudi, Tyrese Beckford, Cuba Gooding Jr., Amerie, Khloe and Kim Kardashian, Keri Hilson, and Amber Rose and Jamie Foxx. He has been seen DJing at every SBE night club and lounge in hollywood and recently killed the crowd for VH1’s “For the Love of Ray J” premier party hosted by Ray J. Soon after that he manned the turntables at not one, not two but 3 American Music Awards after parties hosted by Estelle and Common. Respectively DJ Orator showed off his skills at the Jay-Z Blueprint 3 after party in Los Angeles and was tapped to DJ Snoop Dogg’s official Malice in Wonderland album release party. He can be seen DJing regularly at Club EDEN Hollywood, GreyStone Manor West Hollywood and The Sayers Club.

DJ Orator’s Grammy Party held January 31, 2010 made headlines when Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Drake, Lil Wayne and Trey Songz converged for a wild night of partying at Guys & Dolls Beverly Hills. Other notable events featuring DJ Orator included a private party hosted by Jamie Foxx, and the Brooklyn’s Finest movie premier party hosted by Wesley Snipes. It is not uncommon to see talent such as the legendary Dr. Dre with him in the DJ booth after the party expressing an extreme satisfaction with his selection and style. Not limited to Hollywood, DJ Orator has also taken the stage at three consecutive Rock the Bells music festivals which are know for showcasing the hottest and most talented artists in the world of rap and hip hop. DJ Orator is not to be slept on. A night with DJ Orator on the wheels is one that will guarantee extreme exclusivity. He is known for keeping the bottle poppers along with the most beautiful women of Hollywood up and partying all night every night, without fail.
