The Little Folkies Family Band is a popular children’s folk, bluegrass and old-time band from the San Francisco Bay Area lead by Little Folkies creator Irena Eide and featuring some of the Bay Area’s finest bluegrass and old-time players. The band plays a mix of originals and old traditional tunes for children, inspired by the children’s music of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Jerry Garcia and David Grisman’s ‘Not For Kids Only’ and more.
