Like a Mother Likes a Sister(Web): In Conversation with author Angela Garbes, and SisterWeb Launch Party

SisterWeb - SF Community Doula Network is birthing a real solution to birth disparities. And that's cause for celebration! 
SisterWeb, with The Natural Resources All Families Foundation, is hosting a fabulous night of celebration, awareness and fundraising with honored guest, author Angela Garbes. Her book, Like a Mother, is the literary version of the in-person support SisterWeb strives to give pregnant persons. 

The program, beginning at 6pm, includes an introduction to SisterWeb, an interview with the author, and a reading and interactive discussion of Like a Mother. Following the presentation please stay for book signing, music and dancing. 
Doors open at 5:30pm. 


Program begins at 6pm. 
Ticket sales and proceeds benefit SisterWeb - San Francisco Community Doula Network.
VIP Reception precedes the event with a more intimate gathering with the author in a private home, walking distance to the Women's Building.
