This holiday season, get into the spirit with more enthusiasm with lights in your clothing. Light-up your Santa hat before you go caroling with friends. Make your ugly Christmas sweater even tackier. You could even sew lights into a tie as a gift, or add LEDs to your dog’s ugly Christmas sweater! The glowing surface mount LEDs are available in 6 colors. We’ll prototype and design with the circuit materials, then sew the circuit into our garments.
Join us for this fun Friday workshop day at Maker Space SF with wearable tech artist, Tenaya Hurst. Bring your own holiday sweater, santa hat, or other fun accessory and add lights right into it; ready to wear out of the workshop! As elves of electricity, we’ll also learn about the components we’re using and how to get started making more wearable tech!
Bring your own holiday item to bedazzle with lights. Each participant will receive a Rogue Making wearable tech kit provided by Tenaya Hurst, with all the materials you will need for the project.
