Levi's Stadium
Levi's Stadium, opened in 2014, is the home of the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara. The $1.2 billion stadium is 1.85 million square feet and can seat approximately 68,500 people. It is outfitted with 165 luxury suites and 8,500 club seats. The stadium has also played host to a variety of sports events and an concerts.
STADIUM DESIGN
The stadium was designed by HNTB and was built by Turner/Devcon for the Santa Clara Stadium Authority. The structure takes advantage of the Silicon Valley climate and will be predominantly open and airy, while also environmentally friendly.
One of the most unique features of the facility is the green roof atop the suite tower on the west side of the stadium. Three solar bridges, connecting the main parking area to the stadium, also include hundreds of solar panels.
