Join us on Saturday, Jun 15th from 5pm to 7pm for the opening reception of Passages, a site-specific installation of paintings and mixed media by Bay Area and LA-based artist Ruthanna Halprin Hopper. Meet the artist in person and learn about her practice.
Passages is both tribute and continuum, an intimate conversation with the artist's late grandfather, environmental designer of Levi's Plaza, Lawrence Halprin, using the creative process as their shared language.
In partnership with performance artist Dohee Lee, who worked closely for years with Halprin Hopper's grandmother, the visionary choreographer Anna Halprin, the space, fountain, and park will be further activated through movement and sound at 6pm.
