Level 2: The Two Person Scene a.k.a. Playing with others.
Instructor: Marcus SamsPrerequisites: Level 1 or instructor approvalSchedule: Thursday Nights, Aug 1st thru Sept 5th (8/1, 8/8, 8/15, 8/22, 8/29, 9/5)Time: 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM.Grad Show: 9/7 @ 6:00 PM8 Classes - Total of 24 hours of instruction. Student cap is 16.
Investment: $300
Description: The mutual awareness and depth of character relationship between players in a two-person scene are essential for successful improv. In this class, you will learn Moment’s approach to scenework through mindfully designed exercises that enable you to discover how to play an objective-driven scene authentically, with presence and vulnerability. These exercises provide the necessary skills that allow improv to become effortless and enjoyable for all involved by helping you become more mindful of offers and aware that, in improv, anything is everything. This eight week class culminates in 30-minute grad show.
Bring water, clothing easy to move in, something to take notes, and a yesAND attitude! Class will start on time with no exceptions. Students are encouraged to show up 10 minutes early to connect with fellow classmates and to ensure we start on time! I will re-check the door once, 10 minutes after the class has begun.

Legal Stuff...
I, the ticket purchaser/workshop attendee, do hereby submit my application for attendance and participation in said Moment Improv Theatre Class. I fully understand that though the activities performed in the workshop are inherently safe, and when performed properly injuries are rare, there are physical activities involved, and as such, participation includes a minimal risk of injury. I hereby assume full responsibility for any and all damages, injuries, or losses to myself or my property that I may sustain or incur, if any, while attending or participating. I agree to hold harmless and waive my right to all claims against the instructors and or facilities. I consent that any photos taken, video or other, of me in connection with this event can be used for publicity or promotion, and I waive compensation in regard thereto. I understand that the fee for the class must be paid in full prior to the beginning of instruction, and if fees are not paid, I may be excluded from participating. If for some reason I am not able to attend any of the workshop dates a refund will not be issued.
I have read, fully understand the above agreement and waiver and agree to the terms set forth by way of a ticket purchase.
