Letterpress + Bookbinding Combination Workshop

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Come to San Francisco Center for the Book for this Letterpress + Bookbinding Workshop :: Sewn Boards Variation. Chad Johnson, Studio Director and Resident Instructor, will guide you through this hands-on experience to letterpress print a book cover, then he'll show you how to fold, tip, and sew together this variation on a traditional bookbinding. After the covers are fastened down, the book is trimmed on three edges and the corners are rounded for a beautiful finish and final look. All participants will take home the book they created. A tour of San Francisco Center for the Book and a book bag are included.
