Diaspora Arts Connection is proud to present Let Her Sing 2025: A Celebration of Female Voices. Seven female vocalists and a group of exceptional musicians will come together on Saturday, September 13, 2025 to celebrate the female voice, suppressed, censored, and threatened in parts of the world. Join us for an evening of exciting music and solidarity for the female voice.
Our lineup this year is comprised of Evin Sah (Kurdish from Turkey, based in San Francisco), Golrokh Aminian (Iranian-Canadian, based in San Jose), Meghan Kabir (Afghan-American, based in Nashville), Monicki (Iranian, based in Boston), Sheenub (Iranian from Bushehr, based in Los Angeles), Shokufeh (Iranian-American, based in Los Angeles), Sussan Deyhim (Iranian-American based in Marrakesh), and Xye ( Greek, Russian, and Armenian, based in Los Angeles).

Diaspora Arts Connection is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that aims to foster deeper understanding and lasting connections among diverse cultural and ethnic groups within the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond through the organization of cultural and artistic events, as well as empowering artists whose circumstances make it difficult for them to express themselves and allowing them a platform for artistic expression.
