Laura Lackey's Rhythm Revue + Hét Hat Club (Budapest) + Kugelplex + Kalei Yamanoha We are back from tour! Come shake your Booty at our first Bay Area show! ?LLRR play all shades of Americana Roots Music! Swing and New Orleans Jazz to Blues and Gospel. They play standards in their own style and many original songs based in the improvisational traditions of jazz and blues. The hot dance floor tunes are fresh and entertaining and worth the attention of both party-goers and musicologists. The Hét Hat Club is an international traveling quartet based in Budapest, Hungary. Their music combines originally arranged jazz manouche standards and energetic Balkan folk melodies. The band was formed a few years ago by individual traveling street musicians -- from USA, France, Italy and Hungary -- with a deep and common appreciation for jazz manouche who met in Budapest. Playing street performances, concerts, weddings, festivals, and touring through Europe, and the U.S. The Hét Hat Club have thrilled audiences everywhere with the amalgamation each member brings to the melting pot. https://www.facebook.com/HetHatClub ?Kugelplex is California’s rockin’-est purveyor of klezmer and old-world party music.
