The Asian American Donor Program, a nonprofit, proudly presents the 11th annual Laugh For Lives comedy show benefit! Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the comedy show begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 23.
Enjoy stand-up comedy by Steve Byrne, the headliner, Andrew Orolfo, PK, D.J. Sandhu, and others. The emcee is Mark Shaw. Kristi Yamaguchi, former U.S. Olympic figure skating champion and supporter of Asian American Donor Program, will help with the raffle drawing. Among the items to be raffled is an AT&T park luxury suite for 16 people to watch the SF Giants play the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday, June 3.
This event is a fundraiser for the Asian American Donor Program (AADP), a 28-year-old nonprofit based in Alameda, CA, that works to educate multi-ethnic communities about the need for marrow donors and the importance of joining the registry. It is the oldest nonprofit of its kind in the country.
Serving northern California, AADP works to increase the availability of potential stem cell donors for patients with life threatening diseases curable with a blood stem cell transplant.
