FATALE Fatale is a unique San Jose-based production house with a focus on female talent. By programming every Wednesday night at The Blackbird Tavern, this collective showcases over 20 female-based artists every month, about 300 ladies every year. This space for exchange cultivates an artistic renaissance in San Jose by inviting influential local, regional and international acts into The Blackbird Tavern, creating a key Downtown hub for music, poetry, comedy, spoken word, visual arts, live art, and much more. http://thisisfatale.com
THE BLACKBIRD TAVERN The Blackbird Tavern is in the heart of downtown San Jose. Known for its well curated menu of food staples in addition to great craft beer and wine, the space has also emerged as a hub for great funk, soul, jazz and more. You will find no flat screen televisions inside The Blackbird Tavern. Instead, you’ll be greeted by a room with plenty of rustic charm – industrial lights, warm wood accents and a glorious vintage espresso machine as the bar’s centerpiece. Live vinyl serenades the entire space unless there’s an act performing on-stage.
