Landon and Jesse, two friends, philosopher poets, and songsters met in Nashville in 2022 and immediately shared a love of books, red wine, and music. Both having recently undergone a reinvention during the pandemic, they hit the road with guitars in hand in 2022 to resume the path of artistic exploration, bringing forth their particular brand of lyrically rich and vocally resplendent solo songwriting.

Landon Pigg
Indie pop/rocker Landon Pigg received his informal musical education via his father's record collection. His first CD ever owned was by popular novelty artist Ray Stevens. Born in Nashville on August 6, 1983, Pigg was the son of a studio musician father and a mother who was fond of poetry. The family moved to Chicago briefly when Pigg was a child, though he returned to Nashville as a teenager. Soon, Pigg started to delve deeper into music, discovering the artists who eventually inspired his own music. He credits David Mead and Rufus Wainwright for instilling in him an appreciation for a beautiful melody, Radiohead for encouraging him to expel his emotions into his songwriting; and rock music icons the Beatles and Led Zeppelin for exhibiting to him the importance of catchy licks and hooks. Says Pigg: "Maybe there is a naïveté in my approach. I never had a guitar lesson when I started out. I've always felt that when you don't learn all the rules you're much more inclined to break them with a smile." For his self-titled debut, released in 2006, Pigg was guided by producers Dan Brodbeck, Paul Ebersold, and Clif Magness, who worked with such popular artists as 3 Doors Down and Avril Lavigne. In 2008, Pigg delivered the ep Coffee Shop. The sophomore full-length Boy Who Never followed in 2009. ~ Megan Frye, Rovi

Pigg made his feature-film debut in the comedy-drama film Whip It (2009), directed by Drew Barrymore, appearing as Oliver, the guitar-playing love interest of Elliot Page's character. He also played a small role as Peter in the 2012 movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Jesse Daniel Edwards
Jesse Daniel Edwards is an acclaimed songwriter hailing from the small mountain town of Cuyamaca, CA (pop. 60). As a child, Jesse and his 6 siblings grew up without television, internet, or significant exposure to the outside world. He spent his time learning to sing harmony to gospel tracks and tinkering on hand-me-down instruments with his grandpa. Leaving home at 16, he spent his late teen years busking on street corners around the US and abroad. He eventually grew to perform upon the festival and university circuits full-time after a chance encounter with Al Bunetta (Oh Boy Records), touring with First Aid Kit and John Prine. His songs have been featured in radio, TV, streaming movies, video games, and film.
