KOKUA MAUI CONCERT: PATRICK LANDEZA, STEVEN ESPANIOLA, KAWIKA ALFICHE & HALAU O KEIKIALI'I

Join us as Northern California's top Hawaiian musicians gather in the spirit of kokua (assistance) and aloha (love) to raise funds for those affected by the fires on Maui. Two-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner and Berkeley native Patrick Landeza has gathered his award-winning friends for an evening in support of Maui. Steven Espaniola brings his unique style of traditional Hawaiian music, leo ki'e ki'e (traditional Hawaiian falsetto) and slack key to the Freight. Steven is an Kanile`a `ukulele artist and along with performing teaches throughout the country. Kumu Kawika Alfiche is the Kumu Hula (Master teacher) for Halau o Keikiali'i, and is the Director for the Kaululehua Hawaiian Cultural Center in South San Francisco and has been teaching hula and Hawaiian cultural arts for over 25 years. With a mission to preserve and perpetuate all things Hawaiian, Kawika spends his life learning, teaching, and sharing his culture through the hula and cultural arts and continues to teach throughout the globe.

ALL TICKET PROCEEDS from the evening will go directly to help those affected by the fire on Maui.
