Kiss the Tiger is a five-piece, female-fronted rock and roll band hailing from Minneapolis, MN. In February of 2017 Kiss the Tiger caught the attention of Twin Cities’ audiences as runners up in the Star Tribune’s ‘Are You Local?’ best new band competition. Since then they have released their EP ‘Elliot Park’ named after one of Minneapolis’ oldest neighborhoods which has remained resistant to consistent waves of gentrification over the years. That resistance is mirrored in the sound and influence of their music. It is raw, authentic, and carries on the spirit of good old rock and roll. You won’t want to miss their live performance which has been described as “intoxicating”, “infused with energy”, and “fearless”. Kiss the Tiger. The Last Band Worth Living For.
Magana is a Brooklyn based eerie-indie songwriter. She toured for several years backing artists as a bassist and multi-instrumentalist and now has released her first solo EP, Golden Tongue: a brief but breathless collection of brittle and erratic guitar pop.
Jared Rabin is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter from Chicago. He started learning at age five from his grandfather, who was then first chair violinist for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. In his career he has traveled the world performing on violin, studied jazz composition and toured the US with a prog rock band. He is no stranger to the stage, the studio or the road.
