Kinky Fingers
The Kinky Fingers are a ‘santa fe surf’ quartet based in Denver, Colorado. Influenced by the age of the internet, late 50’s melodic surf and 60’s era soul. Their live shows are high energy and emotionally charging.
The band will be touring this spring, summer, and part of the fall in support of their latest release: Garbage Plate
In what has been a blur of Mexican boarder towns, unmentionable surf havens, barbecued "Bible Belt" ribs, and a wet hot summer vacation in a sticky New York City; The Kinky Fingers have spent most of their early years as a band on the road; with their 2017 release WORST OF being the soundtrack to the those years. Now, after a hiatus from touring, The Kinky Fingers are more driven and focused than ever. Garbage Plate moves away from past lofi recordings and towards a more refined sound. In Denver they’ve won Westword’s “Best Garage Rock Band”, and have received praise from publications in the US and abroad. While at home they’ve shared the stage with acts like The Growlers, Allah Las, Banditos, Guantanamo Baywatch, Mystic Braves, The Shivas, Mark Sultan, Corb Lund, Chicano Batman, Cool Ghouls and a handful of other modern day musical conquistadors.
