Desert Island Friend is an example of unique personalities coming together to create something more than the sum of their parts. With Evan Whildin on guitar and lead vocals, Mike Mulligan on piano and synth, and Jake Shaffer on drums, the band moved from Pennsylvania to Santa Clara where they met their "Desert Island Friend" bassist, Adam Prado. Desert Island Friend encapsulates an indie sound that hits 50's simplicity, 70's groove, and 80's dance.

ZIP ZILCH NADA is a garage rock band from Oakland. The band formed in 2014, consisting of Tony Albert (Vocals, Guitar), Tim Rush (Bass), and JD Branch (drums), all UCSC alumni.
