Kids Rock! Concert line-up: Andy Z, Happy Birds and Sun Kings
The Los Gatos Parent Nursery School, in cooperation with the Los Gatos Public Library, will host the 2nd annual KIDS ROCK! Concert, held on Sunday, May 5th from 4-7 PM at the Civic Center Lawn at 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos.
All of the performers will be family-focused and appeal to younger children as well as their older siblings, and adult family members. For the past 19 years, the Los Gatos Parent Nursery School has held one of the few community events in Los Gatos that is geared completely toward families with young children aged 2-7 years old.
The opening act is well-known local Andy Z, a children’s performer and singer/songwriter who combines music, movement, storytelling and character puppets to create an experience that keeps kids engaged and adults entertained.
For a break between bands, the Happy Birds, a performing Parrot show will amaze children of all ages – imagine watching a parrot ride a bike or play basketball!
Finally, the Sun Kings, a Beatles tribute band, will perform family sing-a-long favorites.
The parents of Los Gatos Parent Nursery School invite all families to join ours while we celebrate how music brings us all together! The performances are FREE and open to the public.
The event is organized and presented by parents and teachers who volunteer their time to build a great preschool community. There will be a fundraising raffle for the Los Gatos Parent Nursery School, as well as games and activities for the whole family.
Bring a picnic dinner or enjoy the mouthwatering barbecue provided by local favorite C.B. Hannegan’s and refreshing treats from Jamba Juice!
