Pro Art Symphony is proud to present the sixth annual Kids Play the Darndest Things. Pro Art's ever-popular prodigy concert offers classical music lovers a rare chance to catch a glimpse of genius in action and features an irresistible line-up of young international, national, and regional competition winners, all selected through a rigorous audition process.
The 2001 "Kids" featured nine-year-old pianist/composer Kit Armstrong, who performed Mozart's Concerto No.24, complete with his own cadenza. Later that year he appeared as a guest on the David Letterman Show and later performed at Carnegie Hall.
The Pro Art Symphony Orchestra is a not-for-profit musical organization formed to enrich the San Francisco East Bay Community by producing professional quality performances of classical music. Pro Art's programs are performed by many of the San Francisco Bay Area's finest musicians and feature instrumental and vocal soloists who have achieved regional and international reputations.
