Artist & Craftsman Supply SF is an employee owned company, dedicated to supporting the arts in our community. Located in the historic Hippodrome Building, we’re home to two floors of art materials for kids, students, hobbyists, and professionals. Our staff are all working artists, and are here to help with any and all art supply questions, as well as lead monthly workshops in store and at community events. Capacity: 20 kids total
Shruti Devaraj Workshop (ages 5-9): Explore fundamentals of collage with a fun, gorgeous, sharpie tissue paper project. Explore layering and composition and find your voice in the magic of the materials.
Kimberlie Moutoux Workshop (for 9 and up): Create a 3D landscape or animal print out of high-quality paper on canvas. Explore techniques that create a finished 3D work of art. No experience necessary. (There are two verions of this age range so you may choose based on whether or not your child has prior art experience.)
Volunteer Details: We will need 4 volunteers and 1 photographer. Volunteers should arrive at 1 pm to set up, and stay until 5 for clean up.
Parking: Parking is all street parking, and can be tight. Please come early to find parking so that you can get the whole benefit of the workshop.
