I wanted to take this opportunity to help a very special member of our community known for many years as DJ Psynthetic, aka Papa Pulse, aka Paul Scott, founder of the event production company g.o.a.Play Productions in 1999, and co-founder of my beloved crew Pulse SF. Recently, Paul Scott’s house got broken into, and he got robbed of his livelihood which was a great setback in his life. I want to utilize this party to help him continue to get back on his feet as he has done so much for our Bay Area psytrance community for so many years, and aside from being a dear friend, he has given me numerous amazing opportunities in my music career for which I’m very grateful, so I’m glad to be able to help.

JIRAH [Perfecto Fluoro / Sculpted Sounds]
YES it’s true!!!! VERY pleased to announce one Seattle based psytrance producer Tim McCall aka Jirah is back at it and it’s simply top notch!! I was as fan of his music since I was in my late teens, and was very pleased to discover that he is releasing music again, we are so glad to have him back in San Francisco.
Jirah began as a trance/breaks dj in 1997 and quickly moved into music production after being introduced to software such as ACID and Rebirth. He worked hard to create his own unique sound of psytrance, being influenced by artists such as Cosmosis, Hallucinogen and Deedrah. In 2003 he released his first album, Outer Access on USTA Records and soon after began to gain global popularity. Since then he has performed around the world and released music on several albums and many compilations. He has worked with labels such as Dragonfly, Phantasm, Perfecto Flouro, Aleph Zero, U.S.T.A., Organic, Geomagnetic, Borderline and BABA. Aside from music production, Tim has also been a sound designer for Zenhiser Samples since 2009, producing many psytrance preset and sample packs.

Paul Scott has been a DJ and promoter since 1999 in San Francisco, California. He founded the g.o.a.Play collective that same year which was responsible for producing the now legendary Eclipse Massive, the Taco Portal weekly and the Gratitude Festival early in the decade. Psynthetic is one of the cofounders of the event production company Pulse SF, and he has more than ample experience and passion for throwing down a monstrous set or producing a ridiculously epic party and his musical journeys have allowed him to share the stage with some of the biggest and best psytrance producers in the world.

Highlight gigs include the Iboga Records Hologram Show at Dreamstate SoCal, six consecutive years at the How Weird Street Faire in San Francisco, Astral Harvest festival in Canada, Psytribe’s Spring Frequency, Pulse Family Gathering, and Panama Tribal Gathering.
Khromata has been throwing her own events, Khromata Nights, in San Francisco, California. So far she has featured S>Range, Martin Vice, and DJ Emok. Khromata is affiliated with Pulse SF as a promoter and organizer, and Iboga Records as the U.S label DJ.
